Can you be a little more specific? Phi is lumber dude, I framed houses, we all love wood furniture. Carvers or builders? I like to put cedar up anywhere I live, just reminds me of home, but I'm no woodcarver/whittler by any means.

I wasn't doggin' ya, just askin'. What you're doing is outta my range at the moment. Phi and some others have better tools than I, finish work is diff from rough in, not trying to ruffle any feathers.

A cabinet I whipped together for a friend;
Aromatic Spanish Cedar.

Dear GOD,,,, DO they ever!. Setting up the Jig alone on the mortising machine took 4ever..

I go smallish. But we are thinking about tackling a gun cabinet this year.

I made this a couple years ago to dump all my pocket stuff in without scratching the finish on the dresser. When all was said and done I had made about 9 for friends and family.

She gave me the motivation when she brought some ugly wicker star shaped thing home. She is technically the woodworker in the family. I just get to "show" her how to do it.

Actually I purchased an aimsurplus M1903A3 last month. I reckon that'll have to count for this one! Wasn't even looking at the count.

I'm in the process of building a copy carver to do some custom handgun grips and such for myself. Was supposed to be a (relatively) inexpensive project... but of course it's WAY over budget, so I'm thinking I'm going to have to make some extras and put them on gunbroker. This is actually the first time I've ever worked with wood, so we'll see how it goes!
