I'm very interested in picking up a Sub 16CA, but I live in NJ, so I wanted to know if there were any Sub 16 owners here.

If so, how long have you had yours, which model is it, where did you pick it up (local or internet order), and did you have to do anything special to make it compliant?

One local shop wouldn't even look into it for me and said they were illegal in NJ. Another said they were legal, but he couldn't get them.

Unfortunately (for me!) I can't seem to locate any SU-16 owners who purchased in NJ (I've looked on other forums as well)!

Hopefully it's more about lack of availability than the gun not being in compliance.

I'm willing to bet that they're out there, just not active in any forums. You'll have to go door to door asking people about what rifles they own... oh wait, that might be a bad idea.

Yeah, I think I'll wait until some of them pop up on the forums. Less dangerous.

They seem to fall in a grey area with the (insane) NJ gun laws, so there may not be any here at all.

Definitely on my "want" list, so I'll keep looking.

I presumed that all but the CA were off limits in NJ. I'll see if I can find any A's.

Here in California the A, B, and CA are all legal. I don't know how different your laws are, though.
