My slide appears to pivot on the breakdown or takedown pin almost like a seesaw type motion. Just want to know if this is normal. I know I will have some lateral movement on the slide and frame..but just wondering if this seesaw action is OK.

    Sorry for the rookie questions...

    Thanks

At the muzzle end of my slide, there is 0.035" gap between slide and end of grip.
I can push down on slide's muzzle until it touches the end of the grip.

The hammer end of the slide stays the same WITH a loaded mag. the "pivot" seems to be at the hammer end of the slide

WITHOUT a mag, the hammer end will also go up and down the frame/slide rail clearance (~0.012"). the slide now seems to pivot about the pin

If that is what you got, that sounds normal
