So, I'm still excited bout the Dan Wesson ECO I picked up a little while back, but now I've found Dan Wesson pistols do have something in common with Glocks. They tend to multiply! I had the chance to buy a Dan Wesson Specialist, and decided I'd jump on it, even though it isn't the black one I was really after. The one I ended up with it all stainless, which is beautiful, just not the black firearm I'm used to having on my hip.

Anyway, this thin is all it is cracked up to be, and then some. I'd even go as far as saying it has to be one of the finest railed 1911 pistols on the market. I've handled the Colt Rail Gun and M45 pistol, Sig railed models, a Springfield, and some imports like the Taurus and ATI. None impressed me like this Dan Wesson. The pistol just feels perfect. If I close my eyes I can imagine it is the black one i really wanted, but when I think of the price difference I question whether it is really worth a few hundred bucks to have the thing black.

I'm going to put up a picture to show off the new addition. If anybody is looking for a great feeling railed 1911, consider the Specialist!

Not a fan of rails, but am a sucker for stainless steel. And those grips are gorgeous too! Love the look.
