Sent an e-mail to Adam @ AMTAC to inquire if they will have a model to fit the Gen 2; here is his response.

We are coming out with a new suppressor in October. It's a 9mm over-barrel suppressor that should work on anything with 4" of exposed barrel. It will have 1/2x36 threads, but we will also be offering thread adapters.

As soon as it's available, it will be on our website.

That's good to know. In your research, have you found a suppressor that would be more suited to the Gen 2

I have not but I have been focused more on Form 1 builds than purchases.

FWIW, I'm under the impression that the new one will be an end-mount similar to their SBR model. Just curious at this point..... Over-barrel would not help us much.

I plan on submitting a form 1 and just build one. All the parts are available online, and the stamp will cost more than the can. I have shot a home made in .223 and 9mm. They work very well, and you can take care of issues yourself.

Never really looked at building one, but it sounds interesting. Do the self-built units perform as well as the OEM types?

Be careful taking care of issues yourself. Per the ATF once the can is complete only an 02/07 SOT can work on it and you can not have any extra pieces.

An FFL 07 is allowed to manufacture firearms. An 02 Special Occupational Taxpayer can manufacture/sell NFA items.
