Should I go to a stronger wolf recoil spring in my new p3at? I know springs should be changed after a few hundred rds. Just wonderin if I should order now so I have them for later on. Do I replace both the inner and outer spring? Does the spring really make a friendlier firing pistol?

Yes both are replaced. Wolf all so sends a firing pin spring.

  Wolff does not make stronger recoil springs for a P3AT. Some use the strongest Wolff P32 springs, (13 pounds) jocko swears by them and he shoots thousands of rounds through his. Of course, jocko's P3ATs are PORTED to reduce felt recoil and muzzle flip.

   Maybe break the gun in first and then see how you feel.

Recoil springs should last MANY hundreds if not 1000 rounds.

It's a good idea to measure your new springs for length and record that. At some future date, you can decide by the length, whether they have compressed enough to replace them.
