Default Trigger pull  PF-9 vs. Kahr CW9

Ok fellas, quick question.

I have the itch to buy a new gun. . .
I am very interested in the Kahr CW9. I went to my LGS to look at and handle one today. Very nice little pistol. From what I could tell it seems to be very well fitted together and nice maching and such. When I asked if I could dry fire it the lady behind the counter said no. . . I know some people have issues with dry firing so whatever. . . One of the reasons I am interested in the little Kahr is because the trigger is supposed to be sooo wonderful. Like a smooth, light double action revolver trigger. How am I supposed to spend my money on a gun that I can't even feel what the trigger is like?

Any way, my question.
For those who have tried that trigger on the Kahr's, how does it compare to your PF-9? I have a PF-9 and the trigger is pretty good. I don't want to get rid of my PF-9, I'm just curious as to how they compare.

Thanks guys.

I had a pf9 and now have a kahr cw9. The cw9 trigger is much smoother and lighter than the pf9. It is very similar to a glock trigger. It is ok to dry fire the cw9. As a matter of fact, it must be dry fired before disassembly. Hope this helps you out.

You probably want to rent one first to try it out for yourself. Kahr is pretty proud of their weapons ($$!) And I'd definitely want to check it out before I dropped that kind of coin.

Yes, I know they are proud of their products. But the CW series seems to be reasonably priced. Unfortunately, I do not have the option of renting one. Hence the reason I am asking for the opinions of fellow KTOGers. . . Has anyone else shot one of these little CW9's. . ?

Did you ask this exact question (How am I...?) to the lady behind the counter?? *

In this case, I'd check with the pistol range you frequent, to post a note, stating you're looking for a CW9 owner to shoot with, including either your email address, or phone #. *I run into people all the time interested in trying my PF-9 and I gun swap for a set.

You could also contact some local instructors to see what they have available for rentals, or if they have can remember any students that own a CW9.
This is just a couple solutions off the top of my head... *There are more ways to skin this cat. *

Have PF 9
Had CW 45

The Kahr was that smooth. That said the PF 9 is great compared to the P 11 IMO

Very similar for me..

Have KT PF9
Have Kahr CW45
Have KT P11

All said, at 7-10 yards I can dump all mags into a 2-5" group very quickly for defensive accuracy. I don't mind a little heavier trigger if my adrenaline will be pumping. Actually I wish the CW45 was a little heavier for defensive use.

Well I picked up a new CW9 with an extra magazine this morning for $490 OTD. Hope to get out to the range Friday. I'll let you guys know how it goes. Thanks for all the opinions guys.
