Default Speed loader for PF-9 ?

Hi all,

Just purchased a PF-9 today. Will be going to the range tomorrow.
My only other experience with a pistol is my Glock 19.
It came with a speed loader that really helps in loading its' magazine.

Is there anything like this for the PF-9?
If not, what is the secret to loading your mags without breaking your thumb?

Regards,

Mike

I went to a training class last spring and saw a guy stuff a round in the wrong way with one of those.....

The instructor said.... First time I saw that happen. Took awhile to get that backwards round un stuck.

I'll stick with the sore thumb method...

You can put a round in backwards with the sore thumb method too. You can't blame a Upula for a round going in backwards as you still have to feed them in manually. I call "foul" on the instructor recommending against these.

IMO the magazines of the PF-9 don't have that stiff of a spring in them. They are also only single stacks. The G19 and other double stack magazine guns sometimes come with a speed loader because the amount of rounds being stuffed in the mag and because of this it makes the last few rounds hard to push in sometimes.

You are right about the double stack Mags. That G26 is a pain in the feathers to load without that helper. PF-9 not to bad except maybe that last round might cause a little dent in your thumb.
