I paint the sights on my pocket rockets.
Here's my recommendation: go to the arts and crafts store. Yes, put all of your manhood aside, you're going to be around a bunch of hot artsy chicks for a few minutes. Get some bright acrylic paint, usually 65 cents-$4, depending on the brand. Use a toothpick, fill the sight dots and let it dry, repeat a few times.
THEN get some krazy glue QUICK dry(that says clear when dry). Put a small dab on top of the dried paint. Otherwise it'll just come off when you get solvent near it.
MY S&W bodyguard came with all black sights, horrible. My rear are white and the front is a neon orange rectangle. It's held up through many cleanings without having to be touched up or anything.
And if you need to remove it, just use nail polish remover to soften the glue, peels right off.
