Yup...that's a plastic mag catch. Don't see them much anymore.

Anytime I'm messing with a part under spring tension, it happens inside a gallon plastic bag. Won't lose a part, or find it in your eye.

I didn't get a manual but I never use the steel stuff in anything I own. I spoke with Adam (tech support at Keltec) a few minutes ago and he told me to order the magazine release and spring from the website. I'll be doing that today.

Ordered the catch and a new spring just to be safe. Looks like the old one was chewed up by the magazine. I'm surprised it stayed in through the first hundred rounds.

Glad you got it fixed. The plastic ones were always a problem.

Not fixed yet. Ordered the parts yesterday and they should arrive tomorrow. I just wanted to see the culprit up close and be ready to pop in the new one when I get home from work.

Ok, half fixed then

If you got the old one out it won't be a problem installing the new one.

It should be here today by the time I get off work. I live about 2 hours from Cocoa, FL. I could drive there but I don't think they sell parts directly from the office.

As a matter of fact, they DO sell parts at the parts counter. They have a nice little store where they sell parts and accessories and t-shirts and such.

I visit the factory every couple of months, you should check it out.

I may just do that. Not sure what happened with FedEx, shipment didn't arrive today. Now the tracking says no estimated delivery available.

On the other hand the 124gr Federal HST'so arrived today.
