I heard the same things about Hi-Points, and Keltecs but I didn't let that stop me from buying either one and I'm happy with both. $.02

We have Big R's, closest is about 30 miles. I'll check them out, I had forgot that they carry guns and they do have good sales from time to time. Thank You

It was a Sccy CPX-2 CB for $199. It came with a spare magazine, 2 magazine finger extension bases installed, 2 extra flat magazine bases, child safety lock with 2 keys, a small tube of lub, and a spent shell casing from the test fire.

My first impressions dry firing in the store were:

1) Not as heavy as some comments had led me to expect
2) Comfortable enough in my hand
3) Trigger was fine although not near as smooth as my PF9
4) Rear site fell of in the box on the way home

I have a 1911 coming in the next few days and I'll take them both to the range for test firing next week.
