Dry Fire Practice - Question?
I have a question about dry firing the PF-9. First off let me say, I never dry fire the PF-9 without snap caps. There are essentially 2 ways to dry fire practice that I know of. 1. Load mag, rack slide, pull trigger, rack slide again to eject the round/load next round, pull trigger and repeat. 2. Only pull the slide back far enough to reset the trigger and dry fire on the same snap cap.
I practice both ways with my Glocks and was curious if the 2nd way listed; pulling slide back just far enough to reset the trigger and dry firing on the same snap cap will cause any problems with the PF-9? I donít see why there would be a problem doing it that way, but wanted other peoples experiences and opinions on this. I also use the AZoom snap caps. Thanks for any input!
