Default Carlson Comps Muzzle Break - KSG

I am not sure why I am reading so many crazy stories and posts about the impossible outcomes of trying to take off the nut on the end of the KSG.

Maybe I was lucky and if so it seems very lucky, but I used a punch and hammer, put the punch in the grove at an angle, and started taping as my friend held down the gun. About 5 minutes of doing this, the nut broke free and I screwed it off.

I re-applied blue lock-tight to the new muzzle break and screw it on. Waited 2 days and went shooting. Shoots great. A must have for the KSG.

Thanks Carlson Comps for making an amazing product.

The only way a KSG should look is with an enforcer of the end of the gun. What do you think about the cheek well being all steel?

You know I am not sure why it is all Steel but so far hasn't been a problem. Im sure Keltec had their reasons of why the cheek well is steel but I don't have an answer for that yet lol.

I am going to probably find a company who sells certain MM thicknesses of like a neoprene material and make my own pad. I don't want the pad two thick so it doesn't throw off my sight alignment.

I think the cheek well is steel in case there is an out of battery discharge. It is a blast shield to protect our pretty faces.

Can anyone tell me if the KSG castle nut similar to an AR-15 castle nut? I know they are not the same shape. But will an AR armorers wrench, for the AR castle nut, work on the KSG nut too?

The other actual thread on the removing of the nut says no, the armorers wrench will not work.

Correct, its a safety measure due to all the bad press bull pups originally got years ago, which has made them not particularly popular in the states.

Got mine off with the antenae socket. Took longer to find the dremel and impact and get it set up than it actually took to switch out the stock nut to the CC Enforcer. Now all I need to do is get it to the range. I've had the KSG since January 7th....pretty sad.

Quick question guys, I picked up my KSG right before the weekend and am taking it to the range as soon as my sights come in this week.

Does the Enforcer actually make a very noticeable difference in felt recoil? If so, how would you quantify it percentage wise?

It definitely looks great, but I'm not into making my tools "look great."

Thanks guys.
