Default Dis-assembly of PMR 30

has anyone taken apart the two halves of the PMR 30 and if so is it a difficult task?

Be more specific. When you say two halves do you mean the slide to the frame or do you mean taking the frame apart?

Taking it apart is relatively simple. Putting it back together is a little more difficult. Read all you can on this site about dissassembly-reassembly and fluff-n-buff (you may as well improve it while it's apart). Good luck.

I meant the two halves of the frame. Keltic is sending a new feed ramp and i need to install it. I haven't heard of anyone on here that has done this. Most seem to send it back to keltec for repair work.

There are at least 3 folks on this site who have taken the PMR-30 completely apart, either to replace a broken part or to fluff and buff or just out of curiousity. Once you've done it, the process makes sense and becomes easier.

when i called keltec the gentleman highly suggested sending the parts to me, and me doing the repair rather than sending the pmr to them. I don't want my pmr gone all summer.
