Default Anyone ever found a mag loader?

So I finally got a chance to shoot my PMR-30 last Sunday, which I cleaned thoroughly before ever firing... 90 rounds, five or six FTE on the first two mags, then I squirted some Remoil that was in my bag onto the slide rails and the next mag was flawless. Anyway, my question now that I've got a total of five magazines for the pistol:

Has anyone found a mag loader that works on these guys? My elderly thumb couldn't handle cramming rounds into those buggers! They're fine up to around 20 rounds, but then the bleeding begins. Any suggestions will be most welcomed.

Cheers!

The Butler Creek Baby Universal LULA Pistol Loader might work.

The Baby UpLULA is single stack only. They are working on a double stack version however.

I use modified Uplula loader on my CZ 75 mags for their Kadet .22LR conversion. It fits a double stack wide mag and just the center 'tongue' needed to be trimmed thinner with a Dremel.

Here is a pictorial and write-up of the mod created by Den Stinett at the CZ forum.

No idea if the PMR mags are wider than my CZ though? The CZ double stack mags measure .80" wide x 1.25" front to bacK. The opening in an Uplula loader is 1" x 1.5"

If someone can measure their PMR mag they'd know if the Uplula might handle it. Though whether or not it would work with the .22 Mag round? I don't know. I do agree that having a high capacity magazine is rather pointless if you can't easily fill the darn thing to capacity.

I just measure my PMR30 magazine and it is from front to back approx. 1.52inches, the thickness at the rear is .92inches and .54inches at the front. Of course +/- either way. I hope this helps. God Bless

I have big XXL hands and fingers (size 13.5 ring finger, size 13 shoes, 37 inch sleeves, 18inch biceps just for sake of comparison and data) as well as arms and even I quit on the PMR30 at 25 rounds. Of course, that is a LOT of ammo and firepower, still. Agree that some kind of loading device would be way cool. I have three mags for mine, so I have 75 rounds at my disposal when loaded up. To put it another way, about $20.00 worth! Takes a few minutes to get them all in there but for a day of woodswalking, fishing or a backpacking trip I cannot forsee a need to re load or carry more than that.

I know it sounds silly, but I use a wooden chopstick to load the last 5 rounds.the chopstick will depress the rounds in the mag, allowing you to slip the next round in without cutting your fingers or denting the casing below it.there are small slots at the top of the mag that the chopstick fits into perfectly.
