I use a single point sling and it's extremely comfortable and lays perfect at my side. (maybe I'll post a pick of the sling on me after I do more upgrades to the sub)

I painted it with that camo krylon. Olive ultra flat.

Here's my SUB-2000, with an AzTac quad-rail forend, AzTac aluminum trigger, TruGlo red-dot sight w/quick release NcStar AR riser mount, and UAG Tactical quick-release folding foregrip.

I'll be taking it to the range sometime this week to check accuracy after taking the the sight on and off. I'll post those results in another thread. -Rich

Finally got it home for some pics.......

Heres my custom Stainless rail/shroud combo.......No where near done, just a few pics....

I grabbed some tube that fit over the stock handguard with a snug fit. Then cut and made to fit so i could drill thru and use (2) 10-32 allen head cap bolts..grade 8....I figured why mess with what KT made for keeping that barrel nut tight...Use it along with my idea...the top bolt was tricky but i laid it out perfect and goes right over that nut....

Then i punched out a slug along with the hole for the barrel. Tacked that to the opposite end, along with a .625" split collar. Then grabbed some 1.500" tube forget the I.D. but fit over my split collar perfect. Laid out the holes so the allen wrench could tighten it down. Made another SS washer for the other end of the shroud, and welded that on.....

All TIG welded by me...Its what i do.....

Still waiting on my picatinny rails to come in for top and bottom...Unsure of how i'm gonna mount the top rail..Might make some small risers and weld it all up......Still need to drill all my vent holes and do all my polishing......

I love the extra weight it added. I love to feel metal in my hands with my guns....When all done send off to be powder coated....
