Guess it kinda depends on what your using it for? Ive got the keltec sling and for what I use it for it works great. Any idea of what your gonna use the sling for?

More of a tactical setup I guess, thats why I was thinking about a single point sling with a quick release...

I just bought a KZ single point bungee sling for under $10. It has a quick release on the chest strap but attaches through the slot in the butt stock with an adjustable strap, It hangs flat at my side and the hand grip is right at my hand. It hasn't been field tested but was just what I was looking for.

i boght the KT sling, but since i shoot long guns left handed, and want the sliing to be ambi, that ain't gonna work. i need to put it on the trading post.

i've seen some using AR clamp on single point sling adapters, looks like they have potential if you ant a simgle point sling.

a GG&G "Sling Thing" should work in the sling slot on the buttstock

http://www.gggaz.com/qd-sling-thing-sling-attachments.html

and this http://www.gggaz.com/quick-detach-sling-thing-for-dovetails.html would mount to the rails on the sides of the HG, or the one above would bolt thru the side of the original handguard. there are also other flavors of rail mount QDs that are less expensive.

there are also non-QD versions of the Sling Thing both for the buttstpck and rails, but i think i'd prefer the QDs.

not exactly cheap, but should be solid.

I like single point slings, so I made a single point loop that properly orients and positions the rifle. Some others have done the same thing with different methods.

Once the mount is in the right place, you can pick any single point you want. I'm a Magpul MS2 fan.

I like to follow the KISS principle, and did what I did with my Draco. Found the para cord solution on the AK47 forum. Simple, easy to repair/replace. I like it.
