Anyone have a source for these?

Night sights that will readily fit the P-11 without modification are hard to find.

One of our members posted a pretty simple PF-9 DIY Fiber Optic mod that would work for the P-11 and definitely worth checking out. They're not Glow-In-The-Dark, but they work for Low Light. [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

wow those XS sights are pretty nice. Looks like you have to mod the front dovetail though.... I'm just saying.

It bothers me though that it never says exactly what you have to do to the dovetail. Just says you have to modify the front site dovetail.

I looked through their videos, all their FAQ's etc. Oh well..

The P-11 does not have a dovetail for the front sight, so you must have one milled in the slide by a machine shop or gunsmith.

Thanks Duece,
I read it wrong. It says in the order section... front dovetail cut required.
I read it as if you had to cut the existing dovetail. I see that they really mean you must cut a dovetail into the slide.

Thanks,
Rick

Kel Tec had the night sights listed on the old web site. I have been writing to them about once a month or so to find out when they will be getting them in again. At the of last year they always told me check back next month. The last time I wrote they replied "we are searching for new supplier". Hopefully they will find one soon. Would love to have them.

Don't trust waiting for them to show up on the website... Call 'em once in a while.

After "melting" and Parkerizing my P11, I once glued some NYte Sytez to the right hand side of the slide. That was interesting, but hard to present in a hurry from IWB.

Being that one of the FIRST improvements I accomplished was removing the Front AND Rear sight before I started the initial grinding operation, I've lived, (and shot very tight and consistent) with NO Sites. Every now & then I check to be sure the ArmaLaser has enough battery power to shut of the laser at 12 seconds.

The newest mod, just for kicks, was to take a piece of 080" florescent ORANGE weedwacker line and loop it through the front sight holes. It takes a perfect temperature flame to heat w/out combusting the line to "brad" it to the barrel. So far, no complaints.

Sorry, no images w/in reach at the moment.
