Default Long or threaded barrel for P-11?

Hey folks. Do any of you know if there are any after market barrels or products for the Kel-Tec P-11? I'm thinking longer barrels for more accuracy or threaded barrels for suppressor usage. I love my gun and it's great for upclose target work at the range, but I'd like to make it more versatile.

Thanks.

Nope. That would be strickly a custom order from some maker, assuming you could find one to do it, and would cost a pretty penny, I'm sure. :-/

P11 plus suppressor would be really neat, wonder if the short action would have trouble with that?

It's the tilting barrel that would probably give you the most heartburn. Your suppressor would need a Nielsen device attached or built in for reliable cycling. Some manufacturers call it a L.I.D. others a L.C.D.

I would also like to see a threaded aftermarket option.

It seems a whole lot of these have been sold, for over a decade.

Why is the aftermarket support so poor?

Probably because once you start adding things up the accessories will be significantly more than the gun.

Take a Sig P226 9mm with a threaded barrel for instance, you might be able to get one for $800 or even $700 but more likely $900.

Now, suppress it.

$200 for the stamp
$500-$600 for the suppressor
$125-$150 for the Nielsen mount

Assuming you paid anywhere near MSRP you just shelled out $800-$1000 for a legal 9mm suppressor.

Put it on a $250 weapon? The stamp alone costs almost as much as the gun. Of course if you had more than one gun to host it on then who can blame you for trying to maximize the use of your toys.

On threading the P11 barrel. You might can get someone to thread the existing barrel and add an adapter for $100 to $150 depending on who you use and if it's even possible. The KT barrels have a pinch at the end and it's not like we're talking about the thickest tube on the market so I don't know if anyone would be willing to thread and adapt an existing barrel even if it were possible.

But, it's easy enough to find out and it doesn't cost anything for the answer. All you have to do is find someone in your area who threads barrels and let them take a look.

This is funny because I bought my P11 new for 249.99 and have already spent well over 100 in upgrades and accessories.

It was going through my mind earlier what gun I could have got for 400 since that's what I've spent, but I'm happy with my Kel Tec.

Don't want to pack anything bigger and anything smaller, besides the PF9 of course, has less of a punch!!!!

Sorry to resurrect a dead thread, I hate necroposting, but I figured it would be better to add to this one than start a whole new one.

On tonight's episode of Homeland, the character Quinn was about to assassinate someone and pulled out a suppressed P11. The first thing I asked myself was "where the heck did they get an extended threaded P11 barrel." The second thought was "where can I get one?"

Sweet!

And bitter ... because now I may spend all day looking for an image capture

But it's also Hollywierd and you can't believe 90% of what you see so I can't get my hopes up.

I'm going out on a limb and saying if this were real it would be a P11 with a 22lr conversion based on the length and diameter of the suppressor and the fact that it doesn't appear to have a Nielsen device.

22lr is better for close range contract wet work anyway
